End of the Tour

Saturday, April 4th, 2009

Well, we are all well, safe and healthy and just a tad tired ;) as we are getting ready to drive back to Cincinnati on Sunday after our last concert in Corbin, KY.

Thank you for all your prayers and your support.

This has been one of the best concert tours ever – with men at Lebanon State prison singing “Awesome God”; a thousand ladies in tears at conference in Nashville; singing for Kathy at Sinsinawa Mound in Wisconsin with my amazing, beautiful and super cool sister Sanya; fans driving for hours to catch the performance; and our silver van packed with equipment, our family and our musicians pushing on through snow, rain & hail – being stopped only by a tornado spotted in Franklin, TN (as we were about to drive away).

Six weeks later, I can only tell you that I have felt the love of my Lord in every note I sang.  I felt His love radiating from thousands and thousands of people I saw this Lent, people who will not give up, people who will change the outcome of the future, people who believe.

And so, my faith is once again renewed and refreshed, and I am ready to sing my Alleluia!

I hope we have, in a small way, helped you to be strenghtened and renewed in your journey.  Have a profound Holy Week and Happy Easter!
