The first time I performed at St. Rose and Clement Church in Warwick, RI was in 1995 with the cast of Karol Wojty?a‘s “The Jeweler’s Shop” produced the Polish Theatre of NYC. Shortly after that I had returned to do a solo concert with my “Age of Love” music.
So, last night was a treat – coming back after so many years. We were joined by staff, trustees and friends of the Parish for a wonderful home-made turkey dinner (at which we had a great conversation with the pastor – Fr. Willson)
It felt funny being in Rhode Island without the boys… People here have followed me through my pregnancies and births – and watched the boys grow.
But, as things always work out, instead of three boys who missed the concert last night, I had about 50 girls from Overbrook Academy right there (it was impossible to take this photo with my iPhone and have everyone show up in it…) Maria and Lauren were the two girls who came up to sing with me at the end… They were all really beautiful young ladies.
