The beautiful Island of Rab, located on the northern part of Croatian coast is where I began to sing with my dad’s band at the age of twelve. I returned to Rab in 2018 after my husband passed away, with intention to heal and awaken some of the music that had helped me before. My dad, who also passed away from cancer in 2006 was a singer and guitar player who night after night created beautiful moments for dancing couples on the terraces of the old hotels. In this photo story, the photographer Ivica Subic captured the magic, the hope and the joy of music, carefree summers.
